The session begins at 3:00 PM

You’ll have the option to wear traditional Hanfu

  • how ancient symbols evolved over thousands of years, and the stories hidden within each stroke.

Explore different calligraphy styles and their historical significance

  • followed by an introduction to the “Four Treasures of the Study”—brush, ink, paper, and ink stone.

Hands-on Experience

  • Guided step by step, you’ll learn how to hold the brush, control ink flow, and write your first Chinese characters—starting simple, then gradually building into more expressive forms.

  • By the end of the session, you won’t just understand calligraphy—you’ll have created your own piece.
