Such an enjoyable Cybercity-in-1-day tour, where so much can be seen and done, in a day! Yet it is so well paced, there is time to enjoy and appreciate each and every location. The native knowledge and perspective from a Chongqing-born guide is truly invaluable. Kojima had been a great company throughout the long day. It was a bonus that he had his professional camera on him, and we were shot like movie stars. On an unexpected additional stop to Mountain city alley, Kojima showed us the exact spots where he lived, played and went to school when he was a kid. Very meaningful indeed.

No regrets taking this tour. Pre tour communication with Jackson himself was clear and fast. We had to catch a train to Chengdu immediately after tour, he advised us on right train to take and solved our luggage issue. During the tour our guide Kojima did a great job explaining the sights and catering to our needs. He also handled the car like a pro, driving us around safely. Car itself was comfortable for all 4 of us plus luggage. Overall highly recommend a tour with Journey with Jackson. We wouldn’t have seen so many interesting aspects of Chongqing and understand it better if not for the tour. Great job Jackson and Kojima!

Our guide Kojima was great! He picked us up from the hotel and showed great places around the city. As he is born in Chongqing, he was able to show us his childhood neighborhood, which was amazing. He took us to the highlights mentioned, but also one of his favourite restaurants and a great rooftop view. Even though he had a tour the following day, he still went out of his was to show us extra stuff. We had a lot of general China questions he was happy to answer as well. I really recommend the tour!

Kojima was a very knowledgeable guide. Polite, with a smile all the time, he went the extra mile to ensure we were comfortable. He was also very kind to accommodate our requests.

We loved our walking tour, we saw and learnt so much. Our guide Listening was very knowledgable and so nice. We went to alot of places that I don’t think we would have found on our own. The multi level local neigbourhoods and river/city view points were impressive. We learnt alot about Chongqing’s history and current way of life.

We took the Wulong Mountain tour, which included a visit to the 816 Nuclear Military Plant, and I have to say the day was a complete success. The landscape away from the metropolis is beautiful and shows a completely different side of Chongqing.

After visiting the Wulong Three Natural Bridges, we came across a small family celebration. Elias asked us if we would like to have lunch with the family. We agreed and asked if we could join them for a meal in exchange for a small donation. They were very happy to have us, and Elias translated everything perfectly. We will never forget this unique experience.

Through Journey with Jackson we (group of 3) managed to schedule a tour to see the outskirts/countryside of Chongqing. Our Tourguide – Elias, picked us up at 7am & organized all entry ticket fees etc. One way drive around 2h30min. He speaks good english & a bit of german which made it easy for us to communicate with him. Elias recommended some food spots on the way which we tried & they were excellent. He was very attentive & exceeded our expectations. Wulong was very nice & the nuclear bunker was interesting to see.This is an easy tour, so it can also be done with kids.

He brought us back to our hotel around 7:30pm. Plan-in up to 12h – it’s fully worth it.
